About Us

Advocacy Nana's Hope is a newly established organization with a vision to provide support and assistance to foundations, churches, and communities through outreach programs that align with our mission of helping others.

Our mission is to make a positive impact in the lives of others by offering help, hope, and healing. We aim to create a network of support and care that uplifts individuals and communities in need.

Goal

Vision

After helping other people, our focus has shifted to helping the elderly. We have created the Nana's Hope Organization, which aims to assist elderly individuals, foundations, and homeless elders. Our goal is to create outreach programs that address the specific needs of the elderly population and provide them with the support and care they deserve.

We envision expanding our reach and impact, touching the lives of more elderly individuals and communities in need. Through partnerships, collaborations, and the support of our volunteers and donors, we aim to create a world where elderly individuals feel valued, supported, and loved.

Inspiration

As the founder and Board of Director of Nana's Hope Foundation, I chose the name in honor of my Grandma, whom I fondly called "Nanay," a Filipino term for Mother. Nanay played a pivotal role in my life, raising me since childhood. With my parents separated and unable to shoulder the responsibility, Nanay became my pillar of strength, ensuring I never went without food or knowledge. Her selflessness and unwavering love shaped me into the resilient and independent person I am today. She inspired me to dream big and work tirelessly towards my goals.

In November 2019, Nanay was diagnosed with an aneurysm and suffered a stroke. I remained by her side throughout her hospitalization, foregoing my studies to care for her. Despite the sacrifices, I never once regretted my decision. Seeing her gradual progress fueled my determination to support my family. With the intention of easing my mother's burden in providing for Nanay's needs, I sought employment in Manila. However, the outbreak of the pandemic thwarted my plans, leaving me stranded in the city while our home was in Quezon City.

On April 10, 2020, Nanay passed away, leaving a void in my heart. Though grief threatened to overwhelm me, I drew strength from my family and resolved to carry on. Despite the loss, I believe every experience serves a purpose, and I am committed to honoring Nanay's legacy by extending love and care to other elderly individuals.

Life's challenges may be daunting, but my mother's resilience has taught me to persevere and strive for the life she deserved. Though I cannot fulfill that dream for her now, I am determined to make a difference in the lives of others, spreading kindness and compassion wherever I go.

Our Past Achievements

  • June 11, 2023

In our inaugural year, we celebrated the birthday of our board director, Ladylecca Bustamante, by sponsoring food for children in need. This initiative was the first step in our journey to bring joy and support to those who need it most.
